All classes listed below will be held at the Grateful Tomato Garden (800 South 600 East).

If you would like to schedule a time at Fairpark Garden instead (300 W 1000 N), please contact us for arrangements.

If you need to schedule a time different from what's listed, we can usually accomodate these requests. Please contact us for arrangements.

In order for Wasatch Community Gardens to run the most effective programming, the following is required of your agency and group leaders. Please review these expectations with your agency representatives that will participate in the program. Failure to fulfill these expectations may result in the end of our partnership.

Participating agency will:

Oversee transportation for participants, arriving on time; class is considered canceled if more than 15 minutes late
Contact WCG coordinator 24 hours in advance of cancellation
Follow recommended ratio of 12 youth: 1 leader
Communicate with WCG coordinator concerning special needs that require adaptive programming
Remain with group through the class entirety, actively participate and engage with group
Address individual/group participant behavioral issues; discuss any concerns to WCG coordinator
Provide basic demographic information upon session completion

Wasatch Community Gardens will provide:

Knowledgeable instructors in a safe, nurturing, therapeutic environment
Engaging, experience-based, educational activities in an outdoor space, free of charge
Guided exploration to connect youth to food, health, science and community
Opportunities for students to pick, eat, and occasionally leave garden with fresh, food and plants
