How Our Waitlist Works

Wasatch Community Gardens currently has a lengthy waiting list and individuals may not get a plot for multiple years. Below you will find additional information about how our waitlist works as well as resources to help you get gardening sooner and involved in community and local food events.

How Our Waitlist Works:

  • Individuals are placed on the waitlist by the date of their first request.
  • Open garden plots are filled each spring and as they become available throughout the year, with the next person on the waitlist.
  • We contact waitlisted gardeners each spring with an update and additional garden opportunities.
  • Individuals may request to be placed on multiple waitlists.
  • Gardeners will be assigned plots at one garden site.
  • Plots cannot be transferred to co-gardeners.
