Wasatch Community Gardens sends out a monthly e-newsletter, FRESH, that goes out to more than 8,000 community garden fans around the greater Salt Lake area.

Use this form to submit a news item about your community garden for publication in our e-newsletter. Wasatch Community Gardens reserves the right to edit or omit submitted news items for any reason, including space constraints.

Deadline: 5pm, the 22nd of the month before the month you want your news item to appear. (For example, if you want your blurb to appear in our June e-newsletter, please submit it no later than May 22.)

News Submission

We encourage community gardens to hold all kinds of events! However, for Wasatch Community Gardens to advertize an event in our e-newsletter, the event must meet the following Event Requirements:

  • The event is open to the public
  • Event organizers have inquired with the City about whether permits or other requirements must be met for this event, and will have all necessary permits and city requirements in place by the time of the event. (For general questions about permitting requirements, you can also contact carly@wasatchgardens.org or 801-359-2658 x10)
  • Promotional materials for the event mention Wasatch Community Gardens
  • Promotional materials are reviewed and approved by a Wasatch Community Gardens staff member.

Unfortunately, we are not able to advertize community garden events in our e-newsletter that do not meet the basic Event Requirements listed above. For questions about these requirements, please contact susan@wasatchgardens.org or 801-359-2658 x12.

Don't forget to include the basic "who, what, where, when, and why" of your news or event!
