Join us for a tour of community gardens in the Wasatch Community Gardens Network!  Join our bike tour for $5, or hop on our garden bus. Meet garden organizers and get inspired at some of the coolest community agriculture projects across Salt Lake County!

Bus Starting Location:

Harmony Park Community Garden
3700 South Main Street, South Salt Lake

Bike Starting Location:

GREENbike station @ The Intermodal Hub
290 S 600 W, Salt Lake City

Note: The bike route is a 1.5 hour, 11-mile ride, with an optional 4-mile return trip (or you can take TRAX). The terrain is flat and mostly along the Jordan River Parkway Trail, with one uphill climb across the I-15 overpass on 3900 S. Please plan accordingly with adequate water and food:

Bike Route Description:

We will start at the Greenbike station at the intermodal hub at 290 S 600 W, and head south to the People's Portable Garden on 900 S 200 W. Then, we will go west to the Jordan Parkway Trail at approximately 1050 W, and take the trail to the New Roots Garden on approximately 3050 S 1500 W. Then, we will take the Parkway Trail to 3900 S and go east to the Harmony Park, 3700 S West Temple, where the tour ends. For the return trip, you are on your own! West Temple is a mellow 4 mile ride, or throw your bike on the TRAX at the 3900 S station (you'll need $2.50).
