Would you like to make your own compost but don’t have the outdoor space? And, are you tired of your kitchen scraps going to the landfill? Do you already compost but want to do more to create rich fertile garden soil? Well then come join Wasatch Community Gardens at our Grateful Tomato Garden to learn how to make compost indoors and year-round using worms.
We will be talking about vermicomposting basics, looking at some pre-made bins, then sorting worms and making some bins of our own. Find out why so many urbanites are switching to vermicomposting, and what the benefits of adding worm castings to your garden are. Registration Required.
