Wasatch Community Gardens offers a variety of events throughout the year, including our Annual Plant Sale, Urban Garden and Farm Week, summer camps, garden parties, tours, and more.

Community Event Highlights:

  • In 2013, more than 4,000 community members attended a Wasatch Community Gardens' event.
  • In 2013, we had 800+ attendees at our 20th Annual Tomato Sandwich Party. At this FREE event, community members ate 500 pounds of heirloom organic tomatoes and 10 gallons of pesto made from garlic and basil grown by our Youth Gardening Program.
  • In 2013, over 3,000 people attended our Annual Plant Sale. We offered over 27,000 organically grown, heirloom vegetable starts, as well as waterwise, sun, shade, and edible perennials.
  • In 2013, our Volunteer Banquet celebrated our volunteers and the 7,000+ hours of time they dedicated to Wasatch Community Gardens during the year.
