Apply for a Plot
Thank you for your interest in gardening with Wasatch Community Gardens!
In the four community gardens operated by Wasatch Community Gardens, gardeners pay a fee each year. In return they receive a plot of land (usually 4’x 40’), access to water, tools and helpful information about gardening. Our gardens are organic, which means that we do not allow the use of chemical pesticides, fertilizers, or weed killers.
We may have space available for adult community gardeners in our gardens. If no plots are available when we receive your application, you will be added to our waiting list and contacted when space becomes available. Below are the addresses of each garden:
People's Portable Garden, 900 S 200 W, Salt Lake City
Grateful Tomato Garden, 800 S 600 E, Salt Lake City
Fairpark Garden, 1037 W 300 N, Salt Lake City
Historic Sandy Garden, 500 E Locust St., Sandy
4th East Garden, 553 S 400 E, Salt Lake City
If you would like to apply for a plot, please download the Application below and send it to our office. If you are unable to print out the form, please contact us at 359-2658.
