Description

The Fairpark Garden occupies more than 1/2 acre on the west side of Salt Lake City. It is located at 1037 West 300 North, Salt Lake City. Drive through the gates of the fairpark, then turn right. You will see the garden along the far fence. Click here to apply for a plot.

Tomatoes, corn, pumpkins, pears, apples, peaches, strawberries, raspberries and a wide variety of herbs are regulars in this garden. With so much space, we are able to grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in addition to those listed above. We also have a rain barrel system that collects water for irrigation.

Half of our Youth Gardening classes take place at this garden. Each year, the garden also hosts a wonderful Salsa Party for the whole neighborhood to enjoy. It's such a fun event for everyone!
