Community Outreach
WCG recognizes the need and value of other community gardens in Utah. We support community gardens through educational workshops, hosting the Utah Community Gardens Network and acting as a consultant for neighborhoods that are willing to commit themselves to the task of starting a community garden.
Community Gardening Workshops
Learn how to transform neglected parcels into vibrant community gardens at our "How to Start a Community Garden" workshops.
Upcoming workshops are listed on our home page.
Utah Community Gardens Network
Wasatch Community Gardens hosts the UCGN, a network dedicated to facilitating exchange of ideas, access to resources and social support among people engaged in building up community gardens in the state of Utah. This includes an online directory of community gardens in Utah, an email list-serve, and online links to more resources.
