2013 Urban Garden and Farm Tour

Wasatch Community Gardens is pleased to present its Urban Garden and Farm Tour and we would love for you to be part of it!

When: Saturday, June, 22nd from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

What we are looking for: Local urban homesteaders, gardeners, chicken keepers, farmers, DIY-ers committed to sustainability and willing to show off their traditional and innovative efforts.

This workshop is part of a series of 4 seasonal cooking workshops hosted by Wasatch Community Gardens, Slow Food Utah, and Harmons City Creek that will take place throughout 2013. Local cook Brooke Cordray will teach you how to take the bounty from your garden and create healthy, delicious, seasonal meals that the whole family can enjoy.

Winter is here, but that doesn't mean you can't think about garden. We have plenty of workshops coming up this month that will help you kick your winter blues. So, escape the inversion and start thinking green at one of these educational events.
