Join Wasatch Community Gardens and Mountain Valley Seed Company for a series of 2 workshops that will teach you what you need to know about greenhouses: how they work, the different purposes and theories behind greenhouses, the differences between greenhouses and season extenders - which suits your needs, watering and lighting systems, and how and what to grow in them.

Greenhouse Theory and Construction:
Tuesday, January 21st,  5:30 - 7:30 pm

-Greenhouses vs. season extenders.
-What are the different uses of greenhouses?
-Different types of greenhouses.
-How to grow in your greenhouse seasonally.

Beyond Greenhouse Basics:
Tuesday, January 28th, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

-Planting and layout for greenhouse growing.
-Setting up and using greenhouse watering systems.
-Greenhouse lighting.
-Organic pest control and maintenance in your greenhouse.
-Growing microgreens in a greenhouse.
