Bat Week in an annual, international celebration of the role of bats in nature. In this family workshop called "Join the Bat Squad," parents and children will learn all about bats as important garden friends and predators of night-flying insects. We will learn from BLM Wildlife Biologist Emily Jensko and the DWR's Adam Brewerton how we can protect the bats living in our backyards and in our communities. Class includes a fun activity for the kids!
