Our summer crops are nearly done producing, we've sown our fall crops, and the first fall frost is right around the corner. What should we be doing in our gardens now that it's October? Your success next season largely depends on how you button things up now for winter, so we hope you'll come join us for this informative workshop.
Come join us as we tour the Grateful Tomato Garden and review the types of tasks we should be doing to prep our gardens for winter. Hands-on activites in the teaching garden will include tearing our spent crops, practicing "chop and drop" mulching, and turning in fall leaves and the appropriate amendments.
