2018 GREENHOUSE BUNDLE

Registration is closed for this event

This GREENHOUSE BUNDLE allows you to register for TWO WORKSHOPS at a bundled (reduced) price:

  • Seed Starting in the Greenhouse, Saturday, March 10th from 2pm to 4pm
  • Potting Up in the Greenhouse, Saturday, April 7th, from 10 am to 12 noon

Join us in our straw bale greenhouse on March 10th for a hands-on working lab where we will plant rare varieties of tomato and pepper seeds into seed flats. As we sow the seeds, we will cover the basics of indoor seed starting, including how to create (or purchase) a soil-less potting medium, and which supplies to use for the greatest success.

Come back to the greenhouse on Saturday, April 7th to practice potting up our baby seedlings and learn how to harden them off for transplating.  Participants attending both workshops in this bundle will get to choose one tomato or pepper seedling to take home.  None of these varieties will be available at our Spring Plant Sale!

Tomato varieties will include: Lucky Tiger, Yellow Radiance, Chocolate Sprinkles, Dragons Eye, Inca Jewels, Pandorino, Napa Chardonnay, Egg Yolk, and Pink Icicle.

Pepper varieties will include: Habanada, Midnight Dreams, Himo Togarashi, Pizza My Heart, Golden Cayenne, Napolean Sweet, and Sugar Rush Peach.

Regular tuition for the GREENHOUSE BUNDLE is $30 plus a $10 supply fee (for total of $40, a $10 savings vs. registering separately for each of the two classes).  Tuition for the GREENHOUSE BUNDLE for currently-registered WCG community gardeners is $7.50 plus a $10 supply fee (for total of $17.50).

NOTE:  Both of these two workshops are limited to 6 spots each because of space limitations in our greenhouse.

Because of the very limited number of spaces available, we are unable to issues refunds for last-minute cancellations or for no-shows.  If you've already paid for this bundle and find you are unable to attend either or both classes, please call Marybeth at (801) 359-2658 x 10 to see if anyone on the waiting list can take your place.  If we cannot fill your spot, your workshop fee will be forfeited.  No walk-ins the day of either workshop.
