On Demand Webinar 2020: Increasing our Resilience through Organic Veggie Gardening

Registration is closed for this event

If you've found yourself questioning things like your place in the world, your social networks, and your access to food during the COVID-19 pandemic, you're not alone.  It's given pause to many people regarding how we live and hs made us think about how prepared we really are if things go haywire.

This workshop is designed to help get you started growing some vegetables, whether it' on a balcony or patio, in raised beds, or an inground garden.  We'll touch on the basics of soil, fertilizer, and crops - particularly which crops to plant when.  We'll be taking a full-year perspective so you'll come away with an understanding of how to grow food along the Wasatch Front 12 months a year.  Also included is a section on tips & tricks for some of the most popular crops grown by home gardeners.

NOTE:  This workshop is a recorded version of a webinar that was offered on April 23.  After completing your registration for this class, you will receive a link to the recording which can be viewed at your convenience.  The recording is 2 hours and 4 minutes and includes a recorded Q&A at the end of the presentation.  The recording can be viewed more than once.  We ask that you do not forward or share the link, as the class is only for students who register and pay tuition.  We appreciate your support and cooperation!

This recorded webinar workshop is $20
Discounted rates available to community gardeners with WCG or the WCG Network.

NOTE: No refunds will be issued for cancellations. We offer a limited number of reduced-tuition scholarships for low-income individuals.  If you would like to apply, please fill out and submit our scholarship application before continuing the on-line registration process.
