2022 On Demand PoPS Webinar - Sneak Peek at 2022 Varieties: the Inside Scoop with Marybeth

Description

We are excited to offer this special webinar exclusively to our Pals of the Plant Sale (PoPS!)  This on demand webinar is a recording of a live webinar that took place for our PoPS on April 7. 2022.

Note: The date/time of May 6 at 6:30 pm is simply a placeholder required by our system. Once you register, you will immediately receive the link to view the recorded webinar at any time you choose.

PoPS are our most enthusiastic shoppers at WCG's Spring Plant Sale - those who spent $150 or more at the Spring Plant Sale in 2021 - and donors who have made a one-time gift of $100 or more since March 22, 2021 or make a current "perennial" monthly gift of $10. In addition to an opportunity to shop before the general public, we invite you to participate in special programming to help you make the most of the Spring Plant Sale and how-to resources.

The idea of this special programming is to provide you with timely tools and information, and to create a community of like-minded gardeners with whom to share insights and experience. We hope to ensure your success with growing food and for it to be a joyful experience to boot.  Specifically, you're invited to attend two PoPS-only live webinars (with on-demand recordings available 48 hours after each live event).

In the first of our two-part series, "Sneak Peek at 2022 Varieties: The Inside Scoop with Marybeth," we provide a special preview of the new varieties of tomatoes and other awesome veggies that we'll be offering at this year’s Spring Plant Sale.  Many of our new and "hot pick" varieties are unlikely to be found anywhere else in the Salt Lake Valley.

During Marybeth's enthusiastic presentation of her top picks for this year's Spring Plant Sale, she will share tomato classification and tasting terminology, cultivation tips, and interesting background on the heritage and breeders of these varieties, all of which will give you just a hint of the vast amount of tomato-growing education and support provided in our 5-part "Growing Great Tomatoes" series of webinars and workshops (offered separately).

PoPS have received a special code via email to use during the webinar registration process giving you free access to this event.  (Please check your SPAM or promotions folder if you have not received this email.)

If you are not a PoPS but would like to become one to access the recording of the April 7th webinar, we invite you to join now!  You can click here to make a gift, or simply register with a $100 contribution.
