Vy is so excited to serve as WCG's Youth Garden Coordinator, where she grows and maintains the Youth and School Garden Program gardens. She has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Utah and is a lifelong learner of all things gardening. For her, gardening has been a classroom to observe and learn from nature, and it has always been a place of refuge and peace. She is passionate about sharing experiences with her community that will expand their sense of connection to their environment, food, and joy in the garden. When she is not poring over seed catalogues or playing music to her plant children, she can be found biking, traveling, and sharing baked goods with friends.
