Wasatch Community Gardens is excited to host tours at our Campus gardens at 629 East 800 South in Salt Lake City (view our Campus map here). Between June and October, our enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff will offer several types of tours to energize your group about urban organic gardening and to offer valuable tips for growing, harvesting, and eating healthy organic food. You’ll also learn about our other dynamic programs that seek to expand healthy food access for everyone, and how to get involved with our organic gardening community!

These tours are geared toward adults. For youth-related visits, please click here. Free self-guided tours offer a flexible option as well, and we welcome you to visit the Campus from dawn to dusk when programming isn’t active in the gardens. No need to fill out this form for self guided tours but please limit groups to 5 or fewer people and please check in at our main office at 629 E 800 S when you arrive.

The Education Program is guided by Wasatch Community Gardens' social justice mission to increase access to healthy, organic, local food for everyone. We seek not only to be better stewards of the land, but also to be better allies with historically marginalized communities, and we invite you to read our Anti-Racism Statement and our Land Acknowledgement Statement.

If you have any additional questions regarding Campus tours, please email christy@wasatchgardens.org.

Please describe the group, its members' existing gardening knowledge base, etc.

Depending on availability, we may be able to host up to 30 people with two guides. If your group is larger than 30 people, we can discuss some potential options.

Please select the type of tour your group would be most interested in. If your group has a specific interest that is not listed, please describe the topic below and we will try to accommodate that focus. The standard tour lasts 75-90 minutes and costs $100. A focus tour lasts 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours and costs $125. Large groups of between 16-30 people will cost an additional $5 per person, approximately. Fee discounts are available to community groups with financial need or non-profit organizations who serve historically marginalized communities.
Campus tours are offered Tuesday-Friday during June through October, by request. Tours are available in the morning beginning at 10am or in the evening after 6pm. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred dates and times, but cannot guarantee availability. We will contact you via email to confirm available times as soon as possible after we receive your form.
For events at our Campus, click here to learn what accommodations we currently offer, including parking for people with disabilities.

I understand that tours are subject to availability and that submitting a request does not guarantee or confirm your visit. A WCG staff member will follow up with you to confirm your group's tour and to process payment.

After clicking "Save," you will see a confirmation screen and your request will be complete. Then please wait for our staff to confirm tour availability and provide arrange payment!
