Spring Plant Sale

Wasatch Community Gardens hosts an annual Spring Plant Sale each May. We’re excited to bring the sale to the Utah State Fairpark (155 N 1000 W), expanding access to food-growing plants in a historically underserved area. This initiative aligns with our commitment to supporting community-led food sovereignty and increasing access to fresh, organic, local food, particularly in neighborhoods that have faced systemic barriers to healthy food options.

The sale features more than 45,000 food-growing plants raised from seed by participants of WCG's farm-based Job Training Program serving women facing homelessness. These seedlings are grown with the utmost care at their certified organic City Farm located at 743 W 1300 S in Glendale.

In other words, when you shop our Spring Plant Sale, you'll gift your garden with healthy plant starts while also helping us work toward our vision of a community where everyone has access to healthy, local food.
