This form allows you to apply for a new garden plot, or renew your existing waitlist application. You may select as many gardens as you like from the list below. You will be contacted when any of the gardens you select have a plot available. New plot assignments generally happen from mid-January through mid-April.
Note: If you are a returning gardener and want to renew your existing plot, you will need to complete the plot registration form emailed to you in December, not this waitlist application. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox.
Please read our Garden Policies and Organic Standards before filling out this application, and make sure that community gardening is right for you. Our gardens are volunteer-run, and require the participation of everyone for a successful growing season. This includes participating in garden discussions, work days, and volunteer roles.
Most people find that one or two of our garden plots is plenty for their household needs and capacity to grow. However, when available, we do offer larger parcels comprising 3-8 plots, on a temporary basis, in some of our gardens. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please check out our Microfarm Program.
Scholarships covering 50% of plot fee may be available, on the basis of need and available funding. To apply for a scholarship, please visit our Plot Scholarship Application.
If you have any questions, please contact our Community Garden Program Director, Cameron Silva, 801-871-8979, cameron@wasatchgardens.org. Thank you!
