Our Love Local Holiday Market returns Saturday, December 7, from 12-6 pm! Give the gift of local support this holiday season. Join Wasatch Community Gardens for an outdoor holiday market celebrating local food, local makers and the warmth of community.
No matter what holidays or seasons you celebrate, a great way to feel all warm and fuzzy and support WCG is by signing up to decorate a holiday tree. The lighted holiday tree forest adds a fun and festive vibe to the Love Local Holiday Market, AND trees are auctioned off to support the WCG programming you know and love. The use of evergreen boughs and trees throughout history is widespread, from using them to keep away illness to celebrating renewal and resilience. We are excited to have your help in creating a beautiful and inclusive tree forest as we welcome the community to Wasatch Community Gardens’ Campus!
Along with tree decoration, we are recruiting sponsors for the Love Local Holiday Market, and the tree forest specifically. Contact Hannah for details about sponsorship levels and benefits. Businesses can decorate AND sponsor a tree, and you can indicate your interest in doing so in the sponsorship question of the decorator application.

WCG QUILT AUCTION
The Square Corners Quilters, a chapter of the Utah Quilt Guild, picks a charity each year for which they make a customized quilt. In 2024, led by WCG's supporter Karen and fellow quilter Lori, the group chose to support WCG! When they saw this pattern, they felt it was perfect for WCG and added some individual touches to bring it to life for the Love Local Holiday Market.
We are excited for someone in our community to make this quilt part of their home while supporting our mission to empower people to grow and eat healthy, organic, local food. Thank you Karen, Lori, and the Square Corners Quilters!
The quilt will be up for auction from November 1 through the Love Local Holiday Market on Saturday, December 7 at 6 PM. Bidding will be online only, you must create a login to bid, and payment (credit or check) will be collected directly by WCG after the auction closes.
