  • Indigenous corn preparation
  • Native bee box building
  • Organic fruit tree care
  • Vermicomposting
  • Oyster mushroom cultivation
  • Chicken breeding

In the box above, please describe your qualifications in the subject itself, and as a teacher. Please include relevant experience, training, and any other useful background information about you.
In the box above, please include internet links which demonstrate you teaching or presenting, if available.
In the box above, please describe the class you are proposing, what skills and concepts you want to teach, the intended outcomes for students, and a general description of how the material will be conveyed (for example, a slide show presentation or hands-on activity)
In the box above, please state if your class will appeal to the general public, and/or if you are focusing on specific demographics, age groups, etc. Please note that the Education Program primarily works with adult audiences of around 15 students per class. However, youth-focused or family-focused subjects may also be considered.
In the box above, please provide a few alternative dates and times that would work for you. Our classes are typically held Monday-Thursday in the evenings, and Saturdays in the mornings and afternoons. Class length is usually 2-2.5 hours. If you are proposing a series of classes, please provide the preferred frequency of activities and time period as well (a workshop series held once per month on Wednesdays from 6-7pm, August-November, for example).
In the box above, please identify any class preparation or set-up tasks you need help with, and the approximate time line for these tasks to be accomplished before class begins.
In the box above, please enter the preferred class venue. WCG classes are generally held outdoors at the WCG Campus Demonstration Gardens and indoors at our Education Cottage and commercial kitchen. In some cases, classes are offered offsite at our many community gardens, in public venues like libraries, and on private property when necessary.
In the box above, please describe what supplies will be necessary for teaching this class. This may include seating, tables, audio/video equipment, hand tools, kitchen supplies, etc. Please indicate what supplies you will be providing, if applicable, and please estimate any additional costs that may be incurred, such as recipe ingredients. We may be able to reimburse you for these costs.

I have read the Guest Instructor Agreement, which includes our policies on guest instructor conduct, self promotion, materials copyright, and class cancellation. I understand that failure to comply may result in the termination of the agreement and compensation.
