Summer Camp: The Earth Recycles and So Do You!

 9AM - 12PM Grateful Tomato Garden (800 S 600 E)
1PM - 4PM Clever Octopus Creative Reuse Center (2250 S W Temple, SLC)

Join us for a week of creative reuse during this partner camp with Clever Octopus! Campers will spend mornings at the Grateful Tomato Garden exploring nature's recycling systems for water, nutrients, plant waste, and more while preparing and enjoying healthy garden snacks. Staff will transfer campers to the Clever Octopus Creative Reuse Center for lunch, and they'll spend the afternoon exploring waste stream materials while learning about recycling systems. We'll use fabric scrap to make funky fruits and veggie sculptures, protect our garden with junk scarecrows, and stitch simple utility aprons to help us gather and tend our gardens.

Deadline for camp registration: July 1, 2020

Drop off at WCG's Grateful Tomato Garden by 9 am, and pick up at Clever Octopus by 4 pm. 
Transportation between sites is provided.
