Raised Bed Gardening

Raised bed gardening offers so many benefits to organic gardeners, including improved drainage, less soil compaction, and easier maintenance for those of us with creaky joints!  Join Marybeth at the Grateful Tomato Garden to learn why raised bed gardening is her favorite type of gardening.  She will review the different types of raised garden beds, supplies that are needed for different types of raised beds, how to fill the boxes, and how to grow your favorite veggie crops in raised beds.  Workshop participants will be given a handout with instructions for setting up at least 4 different styles of raised garden beds, and Mb will also you the magic of hexagonal planting!
