Join local chef, Wendy Juarez, in this hands-on cooking class as we explore how different cooking methods and seasoning affect the flavors of tomato and tomatillo-based salsas. We'll provide the instructions and ingredients to make four different salsa recipes using roasted, boiled, and raw ingredients, with the opportunity to create your own unique fifth salsa!

Wendy is dedicated to educating people on how to prepare pre-Columbian/pre-Hispanic cuisine from the Americas, using fresh ingredients that are delicious, nutritionally balanced, and affordable.
