Andrea Globokar

Blissfully Retired Business Consultant

Andrea retired early and is enjoying the best job she ever had as a blissfully retired business consultant. She has spent the last 17 years chasing adventure and looking for opportunities to find joy in others as well as herself.

She got a BS in Education from Wayne State University and an MS in Communications from the University of Michigan. Thereafter spent her career in healthcare, insurance and business startups and turn arounds. Andrea is a graduate of the Coro Women in Leadership Program and Missouri Women Leaders Program. She has served on the boards of Salt Lake County Library, Art Access and has served in a myriad of leadership roles at First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake City.

Her interest in WCG began after reading about the Green Phoenix Farm in The Sale Lake Tribune. Her interest followed with an interest in fundraising where she was a founding member of the Golden Tomato Society, WCG’s legacy program. In her free time she tends her garden, travels and absorbs the joy from her 7 grandchildren.
