Summer Camps

Spend your summer growing your own tasty snacks, caring for chickens, and searching for bugs in the Wasatch Community Gardens’ urban oasis! Our weeklong, garden-based summer camps provide engaging learning experiences for children in the Grateful Tomato Garden, our downtown youth teaching garden. These fun outdoor camps offer youth, ages 4-12, a wide variety of activities including gardening, art, science experiments, and cooking classes. Our summer camps aim to encourage curiosity, exploration of the natural world, and experimenting with your food. We can’t wait to see you in the garden!

We have a great line up of summer camps for 2020 that we are offering in partnership with some amazing organizations! Please explore our camp offerings by selecting the grade level that your child will be entering in Fall 2020. Space is limited to 16 participants per camp unless otherwise noted.

All K-5th grade camp registrations must go through our partner agency’s website. (Links included in descriptions)

Registration fees include daily snacks, camp materials, and a camp shirt. Limited scholarships are available for some camps.
