2025 Sowing Spring Crops (Additional Session)

The original class on the morning of Saturday March 22nd from 10am-12pm was full and had a waitlist. Due to this high demand, we are offering an additional session of this class on the date listed above.

Lettuce, radishes and peas, oh my!  In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of planting cool season crops including assorted greens, root crops, and peas.  As we work together, we'll discuss when to plant, seed and plant spacing and depth, seed planting techniques, and determining harvest dates.  We will also explore how to extend your early growing season, with low tunnels and extremely cold-hardy crops like claytonia, tatsoi and mizuna.
