Description
Give your garden tools and outdoor clothes new life before spring hits! Wasatch Community Gardens, Green Urban Lunch Box and local mending expert Rachael Hall are teaming up again to offer "Tools and Spools.” Join us anytime during this a free, drop-in community event to explore creative options for revamping your old tools and clothing, and keep them out of the trash!
For tools, we will have stations for hand tool and shovel sharpening, and oiling of wooden handles. Restore your tools with hands-on coaching from Wasatch Community Gardens' staff, who will share their tool care tips and tricks while you work on your tools yourself. For clothing, sewing machines will be on site to mend your clothes, and you'll have the opportunity to sit with a repair tech and get assistance mending your items. Bring whatever clothes need a refresh!
