Savannah Simmons-Grover

Savannah (Sav) is our Food Forest Farm and Partner Site Manager. After 5 years with our Youth and School Garden Program, she has moved into our Agricultural Operations department to manage our very first Food Forest. She also manages our Agricultural Operations partnerships with corporate social service and supportive/ transitional housing groups to establish intentional, self-sustainable, green spaces to feed the community. She is passionate about creating opportunities that allow the community to learn, connect with nature, and eat fresh food. Savannah was born and raised in Maine where she developed a deep love for being outside. After graduating from Bowdoin College in 2018, she moved into a big green van and headed west. She is very grateful to have found a slice of home within WCG where she is consistently challenged and encouraged to think bigger, ask questions, and play outside. When she's not at the farm, you can find her exploring southern Utah, baking, or running in the mountains with her dogs Asparagus, Vern, and Goose.
