Ed D'Alessandro

Ed was introduced to WCG as a gardener, then joined as an intern, and continued as a volunteer before becoming the Garden Site Manager.  Ed is passionate about building communities centered around gardens and the food, cultures, and stories shared by the people in them. When not in his garden he most likely can be found in someone else’s, encouraging people to eat their weeds, talking to bees and chickens, or wandering around in the mountains searching for trout, mushrooms, wild edibles, and wild medicinals.
