Katie Dwyer

Katie oversees Wasatch Community Gardens’ marketing and communications strategy, from social media and newsletters to advertising, PR and print communications. She has more than 15 years of marketing experience in the professional services and urban agriculture sectors, and she combines this with a graduate degree in environmental management and communications from Duke University. Katie was a gardener in WCG’s 4th East Community Garden, having joined the garden to integrate into the community after relocating to Salt Lake City from Chicago. She is thrilled to be farming and promoting sustainable agriculture in Utah, and she delights in the discoveries that gardening and community involvement bring. When she is not marketing WCG and tinkering in the soil, she may be found camping, mountain biking, and exploring Utah’s back roads.
