Katie Dwyer

Katie oversees Wasatch Community Gardens’ External Relations Department, consisting of the organization's marketing, events, outreach and development functions. She has more than 15 years of communications and business development experience in the professional services and urban agriculture sectors. Katie first came to be involved with Wasatch Community Gardens as a gardener in the 4th East Community Garden, having joined the garden to integrate into the community after relocating to Salt Lake City from Chicago. She is thrilled to be promoting urban agriculture in Utah, and she delights in the discoveries that gardening and community connection bring. When she is not happily promoting Wasatch Community Gardens' mission, she may be found camping, mountain biking, and exploring Utah’s back roads.
