Madalyn Covey (she/her) is Wasatch Community Gardens' Parks for Produce Program Manager. Madalyn’s love for gardening blossomed when she started a floral design business in 2015. Looking for more fresh and sustainable sources for flowers, she decided to begin growing much of her product in her own garden. She later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Management with a minor in Business, and found her passion for nonprofit work while working at Encircle: an LGBTQ+ Youth and Family Resource Center. Madalyn is passionate about increasing accessibility to beautiful green spaces, and she is delighted to do so while helping folks grow their own produce through this partnership with Salt Lake County.
