Katie Boué is a digital marketing strategist, backyard market grower, published author and creative leader with more than a decade of experience working in non-profit communications, public lands advocacy, and mission-driven brand storytelling. Her career has focused on building digital ecosystems that connect audiences to complex environmental and policy issues in accessible + engaging ways that focus on solutions, community + future-building. Katie is one half of Vecinos Marketplace, a local urban homestead shop, and in the summertime you can find her slinging berries and lavender at the Central 9th Farmers Market. Her book, On Digital Advocacy: Protecting the Planet While Preserving Our Humanity, chronicles her experiences on the frontier of online advocacy and outlines her vision for a better future taking care of our planet and neighbors.
