Mary Ann spent 30 years working as a Pharmaceutical Professional in Infectious Disease drug discovery at Merck in NJ. In 2016, she moved to Utah to work in Biotech then taught High School Biology and Marine Biology before retiring in 2020. Always an avid gardener, she began volunteering at The Green Urban Lunchbox’s Back Farms program where she learned how to overcome the challenges of growing in Utah. She joined GULB’s Board in 2023 and helped facilitate the transition of their farm space to WCG. Mary Ann is excited to support WCG’s commitment to educate, train and enable individuals to grow and eat healthy, organic local food. Mary Ann and her husband enjoy skiing, hiking, playing pickleball and exploring the West from their new home state!
