McKayle (I'll save you the trouble, it's Kayle, like bell) was born and raised in Northern Utah. She holds degrees in Socio-Cultural Anthropology and Yoga Studies, as well as an M.A. in Sustainable Communities, threads that weave together her love of story, place, and nature.

Over the past decade, she has worked across the Southwest tending and managing diversified organic farms. She is especially drawn to growing flowers and food in places that test her patience, collaborating with rural farming communities, and gathering their rich oral histories. She is excited to support the emerging Farm Incubator Program and local farmers in their continued flourishing.

When she’s not in the fields, you’ll find her in a movie theater, wandering the desert, playing music, or looking for the best riverside spot to lie down and read.
