Calling all future astronauts: pack your enthusiasm and imagination, we're headed to space! Join us for an out of this world summer camp in partnership with Clark Planetarium this summer. Participants will spend mornings at Wasatch Community Gardens learning about photosynthesis, building solar ovens, and growing plants in planetary conditions, while afternoons will be full of immersive outer space experiences at Clark Planetarium. In addition to expert presentations and in-depth shows, participants will learn about planets beyond our Solar System, extract DNA, and investigate the role of plants in human missions to the Moon and beyond. AGES 10-12.
This camp will take place from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Thursday. Drop off is at the WCG campus and pickup is at Clark Planetarium. NO CAMP FRIDAY, JULY 3RD.
Llamada a todos astronautas del futuro: trae tu entusiasmo y imaginación, vamos a espacial. Unirnos para un campamento afuera del esta mundo con Clark Planetarium este verano. Participantes van a estar a Wasatch Community Gardens en la mañana, aprendiendo sobre fotosíntesis, construyendo hornos solares, y creciendo plantas en condiciones de planetas diferentes. Las tardes van a estar llena de experiencias envolventes de espacial a Clark Planetarium. Además de presentaciones de expertos y espectáculos profundos, participantes van a aprender sobre planetas más allá de nuestro sistema solar, extraer ADN, y investigar la trabaja de plantas en misiones de humanos a la luna y más allá. El campamento van a estar entre 9:00am-4:00pm, lunes-jueves. Dejar al campus de WCG, y levantar al Clark Planetarium. NO HAY CAMPAMENTO VIERNES, 3 DE JULIO.
