NEW! 2025 Summer Fruit Tree Pruning

Description

Can you prune your fruit trees in the summer? Absolutely—and we'll show you how! Join arborists from Red Butte Garden and Tree Utah, for an informative and hands-on class all about summer pruning techniques. You'll learn how seasonal pruning can help keep your fruit trees healthy, manageable, and more productive.

The class begins with an hour of engaging classroom instruction covering the why, when, and how of pruning. Then, you'll head outside for a guided pruning session where you'll observe and practice techniques on a variety of pomme (apple, pear, quince) and stone (apricot, plum, NectaPlum, Aprium) fruit trees.  Whether you're new to pruning or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will give you the confidence to care for your trees and boost your harvest!
