Cameron was born and raised in Lindon, Utah, and moved to Salt Lake City to study Peace & Conflict Studies at the University of Utah. Shortly after, he ran a family-owned business for over five years, providing multicultural produce and groceries to communities in Utah County. He then joined the team at the International Rescue Committee’s Spice Kitchen Incubator in 2019, specializing in small business consulting, event planning, and fundraising. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys baking, spending time with his four-legged companion, Norah Jones, and, of course, gardening. He is excited to continue his work in food systems with the team at Wasatch Community Gardens, supporting communities to access culturally responsive, healthy, delicious, and sustainable food.
