2024 Wednesday Walk-Throughs: Fairpark Community Garden

Registration is free, but please RSVP using the form below and let us know how many people will attend in your group.

This event will be held in a community garden, where plots are rented by families and individuals. As you visit the garden, please respect their plots and do not take anything without permission. To rent a garden plot of your own, please complete a garden application.

This outdoor event may be canceled in the event of heavy rain or wind.  Please check your inbox and spam folder the day before the event if the weather looks unsettled. Please dress appropriately for being in the elements. We encourage you to bring sunscreen and a water bottle. Restrooms are not available.

Accessibility: The garden is accessible only on woodchip pathways.

Light refreshments will be served at this event, with ingredients donated by WCG community gardeners. If you are a WCG community gardener and want to donate produce, please describe the types of veggies and amounts in the box below. If we are unable to use your donations in our prepared food, we will put them in the free produce basket outside the community garden fence for the public to take.

I hereby release and discharge the owner(s) of land used with Wasatch Community Gardens Program: Wasatch Community Gardens and its employees and directors, Salt Lake City Corporation, Salt Lake City Redevelopment Agency, and Salt Lake County from any bodily harm or damage or loss of whatever kind arising from, or in any manner or form connected with the Wasatch Community Gardens' programs.
By participating in WCG programs and events, your photo and/or recording might be used in WCG marketing materials. WCG will attempt to ask your permission, whenever possible, before using your photo and/or recording in any way. If you have concerns please contact giles@wasatchgardens.org
