2016 Planting Warm Season Crops

Registration is closed for this event
Have you always wanted to learn the proper way to plant tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and other summer-loving crops? Or would you just love to come help us plant our brand new demonstration garden beds for summer?

Come join Mb at the Grateful Tomato Garden to help plant some tomato, eggplant and pepper seedlings and some bush beans, marigolds, nasturtiums, and other flowery beauties!  We'll talk about proper plant spacing and seed depth as we plant each type of veggie and flower, and you'll go home a little more confident about putting warm-season seeds and starts in your own garden.

Stay tuned for our upcoming "Trellising and Pruning" workshop, where Mb will show you different trellising and caging techniques and how to sucker-prune the tomatoes that you help to plant on May 14th.  More hands-on fun in the demo garden!
