*IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED IN ATTENDING, PLEASE BRING $10 TO THE MARMALADE LIBRARY AT 9:45AM TO REGISTER IN PERSON*

Find out how easy and affordable it is to install solar power on your own home! Come to the beautiful, new Marmalade Branch Library to learn about solar power from Wasatch Community Gardens' own Giles Larsen, our Parks for Produce Coordinator. What are you waiting for? Go solar!

In this workshop, Giles will cover all the solar basics such as design principles, equipment options, and cost comparisons.

Please come prepared with your total annual kilowatt hour (KWH) energy consumption, which you can find on your electric bills or your online utility account.

Added bonus: There will be a free optional site visit to a newly-installed DIY solar array after the workshop in the early afternoon (details to follow).

Our solar workshop instructor, Giles Larsen, is the Parks for Produce Coordinator for WCG. In this role, he oversees six community gardens in the Salt Lake valley. A fan of all things local, Giles also helps homeowners harvest Utah's abundant solar energy with his consulting business, Solar Sapiens.
