Fall In Love with Cannon Greens

Have you ever wanted to know more about community gardening and how to get involved?  If so, come to celebrate the late fall harvest at the Cannon Greens Community Garden.  The Cannon Greens Community Garden is located just off the 1300 south freeway exit at 733 West 1300 South (there is ample free parking just across the street at the Sorensen Center)

This community garden hosts a very wide and diverse group of gardeners.  Because of it's proximity to the freeway, it is the perfect commuter garden for people that live up the canyons or over in Park City and are looking for a sunnier patch of land to grow some tomatoes.  It is also home to a crew of Burundi refugees and (of course) people that live in the neighborhood and need a little extra space to grow some food. 

We are inviting the community to come and check out the garden - meet some other gardeners, chat with Wasatch Community Gardens staff about gardening, and even sign up for a plot for the 2017 growing season!  

We will have door prizes, snacks, games, and music.  Come and celebrate the season by getting to know a garden in Salt Lake that you may never have heard of!
