Winter Gardening: Garlic, Cover Crops, & Low Tunnels

Extend your gardening experience this year!  

Join WCG in this hands-on workshop, where you will learn how to plant garlic, discuss, inoculate, and sow different types of cover crops in the demo garden, and then install a simple, double-layered low tunnel hoophouse on one of the raised demo garden beds. Different types of low-tunnel construction will be discussed, and students will be able to examine several examples of hoop houses already set up in the garden. Everyone will go home with a bit of cover crop seed to try in their home garden! Cost: $10
